A Fact about Dragonfly: Dragonflies were some of the first winged insects to evolve, some 300 million years ago. Modern dragonflies have wingspans of only two to five inches, but fossil dragonflies have been found with wingspans of up to two feet.

I took this photo some 5 years ago, for my older blog. But I thought you people will like this.

  1. That’s a great photo. I take close ups of bees, so I know how difficult it can be to get a sharp image on an insect that moves constantly. Well done!

  2. Holy crappola this is a STUNNING shot! I am busy going through your blog. Some of these photos are awesome.
One of the better photo blogs I have come across. Your work is truly out there. Clever, original, imaginative.
    Cracking stuff. Good for you.
    Do you exhibit?

      1. My brother lives in Australia and he’s a photographer, which is why I always have an interest.
Why not throw an exhibition? Some of your stuff is really good, that’s what kept me paging through.
In a digital era where everyone can be a “”photographer” I reckon originality is the key.
You got a pretty good eye!
        Wish you all the best.
